Philippines: Malihao River Dredging Plan Moves Forward

A milling company in Victorias City partnered with several barangays to clean up Malihao river.

Victorias Milling Company, Inc.(VMC) and seven barangays near the Malihao River in Victorias City, joined hands for the VMC Linis Malihao Clean-Up Drive, recently, a statement from the milling company said.

The volunteer barangays and VMC joined hands as a community to catalyze VMC’s bigger commitment to the caring of the Malihao, which includes dredging and fencing activities.

The river rafts and the clean up boats provided by VMC for the clean up drive were donated to the volunteer barangays.
