San Juan County Shoreline Workshop Next Week

The Northwest Straits Foundation, in partnership with the San Juan County Marine Resources Committees, will hold a workshop about the coastal and beach processes on September 19, 2015, at San Juan Island Grange, Friday Harbor, WA. The workshop will consist of a two hour classroom presentation follow

The Northwest Straits Foundation, in partnership with the San Juan County Marine Resources Committees, will hold a workshop about the coastal and beach processes on September 19, 2015, at San Juan Island Grange, Friday Harbor, WA.

The workshop will consist of a two hour classroom presentation followed by a beach walk/field trip.

Jim Johannessen, Coastal Geologist, will lead the presentation and beach walk.

Funding is provided by the Washington Departments of Fish and Wildlife and Natural Resources and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
