Manson Construction Co., from Seattle, Washington, has won a $17.3 million firm-fixed-price contract to dredge shoal material and dispose of the dredged material at designated disposal sites in Louisiana.
Bids for this project were solicited via the internet with six received.
Work will be performed in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, with an estimated completion date of October 20, 2027.
"Fiscal 2026 civil construction, funds in the amount of $17,316,250 were obligated at the time of award," the U.S. Department of War (DoW) said.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is the contracting activity.
