Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) and Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for dry dock repairs of DCI vessels.
The agreement was signed on September 7, for a period of five years. Under the contract, DCI vessels will undergo dry dock repairs at CSL’s facilities across India.
This partnership will focus on:
- Dry dock repairs of DCI vessels,
- Efficient vessel maintenance,
- Strengthening ship repair capabilities,
- Supporting timely repair and maintenance activities,
- Enhancing the operational readiness of DCI’s fleet.
The companies function under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. The MoU was signed by senior officials representing both organizations.
