The USACE Los Angeles District is back in San Clemente working on an important beach nourishment project to get sand on the beach.
Manson Construction’s hopper dredger, the Bayport, arrived April 25 and began pumping sand on the beach near the pier.
The project is ongoing for the next 25 days and should wrap up just in time for Memorial Day weekend, said USACE.
