E-touch Dredgers: Work on new TSHD progresses steadily

E-touch Dredgers said that construction is progressing steadily on their new 9,000 m³ trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD).

The dredger has entered the intensive outfitting stage, with major dredging equipment, deck machinery, winches and pipeline systems being installed and integrated onboard.

"Every stage from engineering and equipment selection to installation and commissioning is carefully coordinated to ensure reliable performance, high dredging efficiency and safe operation," E-touch Dredgers said.

TSHD specifications:
• Hopper capacity: 9,000 m³,
• LOA: 128.60 m,
• Breadth: 22.00 m,
• Main propulsion: 2 × 4,045 kW,
• Maximum dredging depth: 75 m,
• Service speed: Approx. 14.6 knots,
• Classification: CCS.
