Baars BV is playing an important role in the expansion project of the Port of La Rochelle, led by SDI.
“ With our versatile backhoe pontoon, the Titaan, we deepen maritime accesses by dredging and excavating rocks. Together with partners such as Van Tunen, we ensure efficient dredging, contributing to the development of this vital port ,” said Baars.
DEME’s cutter suction dredger D’Artagnan, together with backhoe pontoon Titaan, is currently deepening the port’s inner areas.
According to Baars, this is a crucial phase in the ambitious PORT HORIZON 2025 expansion project.
