The USTDA Bangladesh Inland Waterways Management Reverse Trade delegation visited Ellicott Dredgers facilities recently.

“During our time together the delegation was able to witness how Ellicott brand Cutter Suction Dredges are built and have helped Bangladesh reach its dredging goals for many decades and continuing into the present day,” the Baltimore-based manufacturer of CSDs said

The group received hands-on Dredge Operator training on Ellicott’s Dredging Simulator and had a spirited technical discussion about the benefits of the Series 1270 (18-inch), 2070 (20-inch), and 3870 (26-inch) Dragon dredges working in Bangladesh today.

According to Ellicott, this important and distinguished delegation included the Honorable Minister of Shipping, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury and BIWTA Chairman, Commodore Golam Sadeq.
