USACE Jacksonville District has announced public participation log-on instructions for two virtual Tampa Harbor, Florida Study presentations scheduled for Thursday, November 18.

The study focuses on the deep draft navigation channel and will investigate alternatives to improve ship vessel navigation efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and maintain safety in Tampa Harbor pursuant to national environmental statutes and other Federal planning requirements.

“The public participation events will present the study scope and solicit comments from the Tampa community, agencies and stakeholders in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969,” said USACE.
