Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has signed a contract with Maldives’ Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (MNPHI) towards implementation of the Ha. Hoarafushi Airport Coastal Protection Project.

MTCC CEO, Adam Azim, signed the deal on behalf of the company and Ms. Fathimath Shaana Farooq, Director General, put her signature on behalf of MNPHI.

MP Ahmed Saleem also attended the ceremony.

Scope of works for the project will include:

The value of the project is MVR 90.5 million ($5.9 million) and the scheme is to be completed within 360 days.
