Ellis Construction is currently working on the Missouri River at Tadpole Chute near Columbia, Mo.

The work is being conducted under a contract with the USACE Kansas City District to repair the river structures that define the chute.

“We’re committed to getting these structures repaired,” the District said in their latest announcement.

Also, USACE is currently performing multiple tasks to address priority areas of concern and the damages to river structures.

Furthermore, USACE continues to work with the navigation industry to proactively communicate real-time river conditions.

Recently, flows have returned to normal on the Lower Missouri River for support to navigation.

However, there is insufficient funding to repair all the structures damaged by the 2019 flood, said USACE.
