Infrastructure

Burnco Rock Products Ready Ltd. is proposing to conduct maintenance dredging adjacent to their barge ramp in Langley, British Columbia.

Langley Dirt Works

The purpose of the project is to remove accumulated sediment to achieve appropriate vessel clearance at the barge ramp.

The scope of works includes dredging a footprint of approximatively 2,950 square meters to a target dredge depth of -5.5 meters local low water.

Also, the total dredge volume will be less than 4,000 cubic meters. Further, dredging work is set to be completed with a clamshell bucket.

According to an official announcement, disposal will either be upland or at an approved disposal at sea site.

This area was last dredged in February 2014.
