IQPC Middle East will be the organizer of the 5th Annual Marine & Coastal Design and Engineering Middle East Forum, set to take place in Bahrain from 25-27 April 2017.
The aim of the conference is to bring together stakeholders from all marine and coastal sectors to discuss strategies that will develop the Arabian coastline through sustainable and innovative design and engineering.
According to the organizers, marine and coastal experts, consultants, contractors, private developers, government representatives and solution providers will gather at the event to discuss project challenges and requirements in order to determine best practice in marine engineering, coastal design and project delivery.
Countries in the Middle East are allocating huge funds to develop artificial islands, expand their port infrastructure to handle bigger capacity and ensure sustainability of their marine structures. But, there is a critical need for engineering innovations and solutions specific to local marine and coastal environments in Bahrain and the wider Middle East.
