Chris Ransome & Associates, Inc. (CRA), a specialized hydrographic survey company, and Orion Marine Group, a local dredging contractor, have announced that their upcoming half-day dredging seminar, “Dredging Your Docks,” will be held on October 8, 2015, at the Omni Hotel in Corpus Christi.
CRA and Orion Marine Group have been conducting dredging conferences at other port systems for over the past 10 years.
The seminar is geared to outreach to private stakeholders and public sector to have open discussions and presentations on dredging and navigation issues. These topics range from project specific, permitting, planning, development, and navigation information.
“ The Corpus Christi region has a lot of dredging movement going on, and they deserve the spotlight ,” said Chris Ransome, President of CRA.
This year’s speaker line-up includes: Jim Stark (Gulf Intracoastal Canal Association), Chris Frabotta (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District), Dan Koesma (Port of Corpus Christi), and Brent Moore (HDR Engineering).
Mark Coyle from Orion Marine Group and Chris Ransome from CRA, Inc. will discuss topics in private industry dredging and hydrographic surveying.
