Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) will next spring undertake maintenance dredging work at its Kochi LNG terminal in Kerala, India.
The company has just announced tender for the dredging works that will begin in mid-April 2016. All interested parties may send their request for proposals until August 17th 2015.
The contract is for a period of 18 months and includes providing a Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) on daily hire basis, related equipment and manpower to carry out the project.
In the past, similar dredging projects took place in the area. During those projects, the material dredged by CSD was used for land development work and beach nourishment projects.
