The Environment Agency is continuing work on a £15.3 million flood alleviation scheme that will reduce the risk of flooding from Salmons Brook in north London.

The scheme has now been under construction since May 2013 and is progressing well. The prolonged wet winter of 2013 to 2014 delayed some planned operations.

Wet weather last winter hampered the reinstatement work at Grange Park and some construction at Montagu Road. Despite this, the Environment Agency have made significant progress.

The Agency will continue construction works on the project until late summer 2015.
