Final preparations are underway for the Egypt Ports & Waterways Summit that will be held from 9-11 June in Cairo.

Many advancements are planned for Egypt’s maritime sector, with expansions to the capacity of the Suez Canal soon to be ready, together with expansions to all of the country’s major ports, Egypt is steadily moving towards its goal of being a top destination for global transhipment and value added logistics services.

Under the official patronage of the Minister of Transport, and supported by the Suez Canal Authority, Alexandria Port Authority, Damietta Port Authority, River Transport Authority and the General Authority for Dry Ports and Land Ports, the summit will provide great opportunities to join the most senior members of the Suez Canal Authority and Egypt’s port authorities and learn about the future of the Suez Canal and Egyptian trade infrastructure.
