USACE to Host Public Meeting on Buffalo River Section 204

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Buffalo District will host a public information meeting to discuss the Buffalo River Section 204 Beneficial Use of Dredged Material for Ecosystem Restoration Project, detailed project report and environmental assessment, and study schedule.

The meeting will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Riverside Branch Library located at 820 Tonawanda St., Buffalo, NY 14207 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

A National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) scoping document has been prepared and is currently available for review and comment.

The comment period for the document will end November 14, 2014.
