The FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrey Tarasenko made a working visit to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Seaport from July 28-31.
During the visit Andrey Tarasenko met the Governor of Kamchatka Teritory Vladimir Ilykhin and the management of JSC Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sea Trade Port.
The meeting was focused on the prospects for the development of the Kamchatka territory infrastructure. The participants discussed such issues as reconstruction of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Seaport, construction of a new container hub port, in order to create the conditions for transit of cargo from the Asia-Pacific region to Europe along the Northern Sea Route, as well as development of infrastructure for handling ocean cruise vessels in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Seaport.
In the end of the discussion the parties agreed to proceed with mutual cooperation in order to achieve all the planned targets connected to the development of the sea port infrastructure of Kamchatka territory.
