For its 13th edition, the Centre Français du Littoral CFL (French Coastal Centre) has chosen Dunkirk to host the National Coastal and Civil Engineering Conference which will be held at the Kursaal Centre from 2 to 4 July, 2014.

For the organisation of this event Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque has joined forces with CFL, together with the Opal Coast University ULCO.

CFL, an independent science and technology organisation, is concerned with the coast in its broadest sense, including scientific study, protection, development, enhancement and the development of its resources.

The 2014 Coastal and Civil Engineering Conference will address topics such as coastal dynamics, coastal risks, marine energies and resources, port structures and the management of coastal environments.
