Port of San Diego to Host Community Engagement Events

The Port of San Diego will host two community workshops as part of its effort to gather input for its Integrated Port Master Plan Update process.

The Port of San Diego, the fourth largest port in California, is in the midst of developing a 50-Year Vision Plan as part of the Port Master Plan Update to help guide land and water uses in the San Diego Bay.

Smart planning first integrates the ideas and concerns from the broadest possible audience,” said Port of San Diego Chairman Bob Nelson. “Then it’s our job to develop the best ideas to wisely navigate the Port into the future.”

Community events will be held on the following dates and locations:

February 18, 2014

B Street Cruise Ship Terminal, 1140 N. Harbor Drive, San Diego CA,

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

February 19, 2014

Norman Park Senior Center, 270 F St, Chula Vista, CA,

6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

This is the initial, visioning phase of the multi-year project that will eventually result in a new Port Master Plan.
