Dredge Yard, a company dedicated to engineering, consulting and production of dredgers, dredging and mining equipment and technology and Altair HyperWorks, market leader in engineering, simulation and software of fluid dynamics, have teamed up on the design, calculation and simulation of dredge and mining pumps and dredge installations.

HyperWorks has extensive knowledge and skills in engineering, simulation, and software packages and is capable of calculating and simulating different types of pumps and fluid installations to the finest details, while Dredge Yard has the knowledge and practical experience in dredge and mining pumps.

Dredge Yard will be using the technology of Altair HyperWorks for the design, simulation and calculation of dredge and mining pumps. Altair HyperWorks will train several engineers from Dredge Yard in its facilities in USA and India.

This will allow Dredge Yard’s engineers to make best-in-class modeling, analysis, visualization and data management solutions for linear, nonlinear, structural optimization, fluid-structure interaction, and multi-body dynamics applications.

Dredge Yard will use the simulation technologies to improve design efficiency, wear performance, to reduce physical testing costs and time that have always been the biggest engineers’ challenges in Dredging Industry.
