The province of North Holland has announced a plan to carry out dredging in some 43 miles of waterways in the North Holland region, mainly in channels that are almost exclusively used by recreational vessels.

The task for the contractor will be to deepen the mentioned areas to achieve the required nautical profiles.

These channels must also meet the legal quality of sediments and to be the choice of the Hoogheemraadschap Hollandsnoorderk wartier (HHNK).

The deadline for this tender is February 3, 2014.
