Housing Development Corporation (HDC) announced that the second phase of the Hulhumale land reclamation project has been awarded to Jan De Nul Group, according to haveeru.com.

This phase of the reclamation program, designed to accommodate a population of 100,000 people, will be undertaken at the Club Med area.

During the second phase of this capital project, about 230 hectares of new land will be created.

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has taken the Hulhumale reclamation project from Belgium’s Dredging International, because the Belgian company had been unable to arrange the finances within the specified period, reports haveeru.com.
