The construction work of the main quay structure of Qatar Doha New Port Project has achieved substantial progress on August 31.

The quantity of wharf concrete blocks installed reached 17468, accounting for 50.13% of the total quantity, which was ahead of the project reference plan. This provides a powerful guarantee for the follow-up construction of wharf structure and also lays a foundation for the completion of construction of Node D.

Qatar Doha New Port Project is a dug-into port; the wharf adopts solid concrete block gravity-type structural form, and the total quantity of blocks installed is 34844.
