Thai and Myanmar leaders have introduced plans to form a joint committee to supervise the construction of the Dawei deep-sea port in Myanmar.
According to bernama.com, Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra in her meeting with Myanmar President Thein Sein discussed the Thai-Myanmar cooperation on the development of the Dawei deep seaport and other development projects in Myanmar.
Yingluck says that after the bilateral discussion that she and her Myanmar counterpart had agreed on the structure of this Thai-Myanmar joint committee.
