Pakistan: Nullah Leh Dredging Gets Financial Boost

Punjab government has approved a grant amounting Rs 300 million for Nullah Leh dredging and finalizing all arrangements to protect the low-lying areas of the city from flash-floods during the upcoming monsoon season, reports brecorder.com.

WASA has already started the cleanliness drive at 11 different points of Nullah.

Fifty percent dredging of the Nullah was completed last year.

“ Dredging work at 11 different points of the Nullah and 454 drains, falling in the Leh will be completed till June 30 ” Water and Sanitation Agency said.
