India: Midnapore Canal Dredging Progresses Well

In April, chief minister Mamata Banerjee had launched the Keleghai river dredging works.

On Tuesday, the state irrigation minister inspected progress of work over the last one and half months.

Project value of the first phase of the dredging is Rs 158 crore.
