The people of Serua and Namosi are happy that they will not have to move to higher grounds during flooding in the near future, reports fijivillage.com.
“ The dredging is underway at the Navua River currently which came as a big relief to the villagers in both the provinces ,” said Ratu Ravuama Naikaiwalu, the Deputy Roko of Serua .
Navua River dredging which is done by the China Railway First Group is expected to finish in two months time.
