Partrac presented at the fourth International Ports & The Environment Seminar 2012 yesterday in Amsterdam.

Dr Kevin Black, Technical Director of the Partrac Group, discussed how estuarine and port managers, consultants and regulators use applied mathematical (or numerical) oceanographic models to address a range of sediment management risks and issues. The presentation also explored if end-users can be confident that models are sufficiently accurate to enable them to manage their project risks.

The Ports & The Environment Seminar showcases the latest environmental developments and issues surrounding the port and shipping industry and offers an ideal platform for key players to discuss, debate and network.
