The first part of the new beach along Maasvlakte 2 will be ready for walking, swimming and sunbathing in May 2012.

The rest of the beach can be easily accessed from November 2012 as well. The seven-kilometre long beach has been designed so that there is space for everyone.

Sportspeople can do their own thing in the northern section with kites, sailboards or fishing rods.

On the southern section of the beach sun-worshippers can roll out their beach towels.

The area in between is for nude bathing.
