UK: RIL Reveals Plan for Riverside Development Works

Riverside Inverclyde (property Holdings) Limited has announced early information about planned riverside development works. Riverside Inverclyde (property Holdings) Limited has announced early information about planned riverside development works.

The Gourock public realm improvement works project is part of a wider regeneration programme, delivered by Riverside Inverclyde (Property Holdings) Ltd., over the next 10 years, for Inverclyde area.

The works comprise the construction of: Land reclamation on the foreshore, which will be protected on the seaward side by a rock armour revetment, to link the existing Kempock Street car park and the existing Rail Terminal car park, including all associated M&E and including access road, additional new parking spaces and forming a boat slip; Extensive improvements to the Pierhead public realm area; Improvements to the existing Rail Terminal car park; Improvement works to the existing Kempock Street car park; New adoptable standard distributor road including associated lighting etc.

All works will be required to meet the approval of Inverclyde Council as the eventual asset owner of the new link road and sea wall rock armour revetment and associated infrastructure.

Value of the project is £4,660,000.

Deadline for expressions of interest is 3.2.2012.
