The three-day event brings the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Great Lakes and Ohio River Division staff together with subordinate units US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, to engage with stakeholders about sustainable management of the Great Lakes.

GLINT focuses on:

  • innovative ways to beneficially use dredged material,
  • Great Lakes navigation,
  • critical work being done with the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.

The Duluth Field Office, the northwestern edge of the Detroit District, is hosting the event this year at its offices and Maritime Visitors Center – where more than 500,000 people stop in each year.
