Dredger Idun R wraps up Mar del Plata dredging program

Rohde Nielsen was awarded the maintenance dredging of the main access channel to the Port of Mar del Plata in Argentina in September 2021.

Rohde’s hopper dredger Idun R has successfully executed dredging of 550.000 m3 material for the client, Consorcio Portuario Regional.

The project started in November 2021 and was already finished in February 2022.

Mar del Plata is one of the major fishing ports and the biggest seaside beach resort in Argentina.
