Pilbara Ports said that the Eastern Harbor Revetment Project is now complete, strengthening shoreline protection across the Port of Port Hedland.
The project upgraded key revetment areas at Berth1, Berths 2-3 and Berth 3, helping protect critical infrastructure from erosion, tides, waves and severe weather.
"Completed between November 2025 and June 2026, the works were delivered in a complex operating environment, with the team navigating tidal conditions, live shipping movements, existing port infrastructure and cyclone weather to get the job done safely," Pilbara Ports said.
With works now complete, the transformed shoreline is ready to support ongoing port operations and the continued growth of the world’s largest bulk export port.
