Teignmouth Harbour Commission (UK) has just announced that the dredger MV Mannin will commence dredging activities in the channel approaches next week, weather permitting.
The dredging operations are planned to take place from November 24 and last until December 8, 2025.
Thanks to the dredging, Teignmouth will continue to accommodate large vessels and maintain the volume of ships passing through the port.
The maintenance dredging works are being funded and delivered by the Teignmouth Harbour Commission.
