Weeks Marine has won an $8.2 million USACE contract for maintenance dredging works in Palm Beach, Florida.

The project consists of maintenance dredging Palm Beach Harbor within the Entrance Channel, Settling Basin, Extended Settling Basin, and the southern portion of the Expanded Settling Basin.

Approximately 100,000 cubic yards of material is planned to be removed from the entrance channel and the settling basins and placed in the designated nearshore placement area located south of the inlet.

According to the Corps, the Palm Beach Harbor dredging project has an estimated completion date of May 9, 2025.
