DE Klop BV delivered an A-frame for the Husky, Van den Bosch Marine’s multifunctional workboat last week.
The Husky, now serving as a bed leveller/plough boat and push tug, is even more efficient and versatile thanks to its new frame, said DE Klop. The frame, designed by DE Klop in 3D and manufactured in collaboration with Lasco, was installed on board by the service technicians while the vessel was undergoing maintenance at Scheepswerf Boer in Sliedrecht.
DE Klop also conducted strength FEM calculations to ensure the frame’s robustness and reliability.
