According to the Department, the contractor – Marz Engineering will start dredging works on November 4. During the works, the boat launching ramp and portions of the parking lot at Lucerne Harbor will be closed.

This maintenance dredging project will remove approximately 2,500 cubic yards of sediment from the Lucerne Harbor.

Dredging is to be accomplished using a floating clamshell dredge paired with one to two barges pushed by a shallow water tugboat.

Lake County officials are expecting Lucerne Harbor dredging project to be completed in late November/early December.
