Seaward Marine wins $15.2M Virginia Beach contract

Seaward Marine Corp., from Norfolk, Virginia, has won a $15.2 million firm-fixed-price contract for construction services for dredging at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

"The maximum dollar value, including the base price and one option, is $15,264,000. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $15,264,000 will be obligated at the time of the award and will expire at the end of the fiscal year," the Department of War (DoW) said.

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

Work is expected to be completed by March 2027.
