Two years ago, the City of Fort Lauderdale and SunTex Marinas broke ground on the new Las Olas Marina as part of a public-private partnership.

The $70 million project included installation of over 7,000 linear feet of new docks, dredging of over 200,000 cubic yards of material, installation of over 2,000 feet of new seawall, replacement and installation of the city’s new pump station, etc.

With this project’s completion, the city is one step closer to solidifying Fort Lauderdale’s reputation as the yachting capital of the world.
