The maintenance dredging operations are moving forward at Everett Harbor and Snohomish River.
According to USACE, this dredging work will be performed continuously around the clock for an anticipated 60 days, to be concluded by February 14, 2027. Plans call for approximately 175,000 cubic yards to be removed from these areas.
The primary placement site for dredged material will be at Port Gardner, with a secondary site in Elliot Bay.
"The federal channel will remain open for waterway users during dredging operations. All dredge work areas, including the navigation channel and target placement sites, will be used by the contractor during dredging operations," USACE said.
Dredging is being performed by American Construction Co., Inc. from Tacoma.
