According to Damen’s latest project update, “the dredger is shaping up nicely and it is almost ready for trials and some real action.”

The Damen CSD650 is a self-propelled or stationary vessel that uses a rotating cutter head to loosen the material in the hard ground.

The impressive dredging depth of -25 m and the production of some 7,000 m3/h make this standard cutter suction dredger the jumbo of the current CSD standard series,” Damen said.

Also, the dismountable dredger can be transported by truck or towed completely assembled to a project.
