According to the company, the UKD Seadragon’s construction is on target. The ships hull has now been completed in Gdańsk and will be towed to Damen Shipyards in Gorinchem, Netherlands, for outfitting.

The newbuild is a diesel electric Damen 2711 Shoalbuster that will carry out Water Injection Dredging for UK Dredging around the coast of the UK.

Her design will allow the vessel to perform a variety of operations from towing/pushing to dredging, and buoy/anchor handling in both inland and coastal waters.

The UKD Seadragon is expected to join the UK Dredging fleet in Q1 2025.
