The four barges, owned by Jan De Nul Group, a family-owned company specializing in the construction and maintenance of marine infrastructure, are actively fulfilling vital missions in modern ports and oceans today.

The two smaller barges measure approximately 80 meters in length, 14.5 meters in width, and have a capacity of 2000 cubic meters each. The other two barges are nearly 100 meters in length, 19 meters in width, and boast a capacity of 3700 cubic meters each.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to replacing the rubber sealing elements installed between the ship semi-hulls, hull cleaning, painting, and replacing pipes and hull steel constructions.

Notably, for BOUSSOLE, in addition to standard drydocking works, one of the two split cylinders, weighing approximately 32 tons, was replaced.
