Damen dredger working 24/7 to keep the Indonesian economy afloat (VIDEO)

For ten years, this trailing suction hopper dredger has been making her rounds day and night to keep this busy waterway accessible.

The vessel — ordered by the Indonesian dredging company Pelayaran Fortuna Nusantara Megajaya (PFNM) — is being used to dredge and maintain the economically vital cargo transport route in South Kalimantan.

With an overall length of 80.35 meters, the vessel has a trailing dredging depth of 22 meters with 750 mm dredging pipe.
