Lewes seeks bidders for Canalfront dredging

The City of Lewes, DE, is inviting interested bidders to submit proposals for the maintenance dredging of the boat slips at the Canalfront Park Marina and specified private marinas.

According to the city, bids will be accepted until 4 p.m. on July 19 at City Hall.

At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, the City said.

A pre-bid meeting is set for 11 a.m. on July 8. 

The Lewes Canalfront Park & Marina is over three acres adjacent to the Lewes & Rehoboth Canal, the 1938 Overfalls Lightship, historic Lifesaving Station and the Lewes Little League ball fields, along Front Street in Lewes Delaware.
