New Watermaster V amphibious dredger is about to arrive in Ukraine, said the Ukrainian State Agency of Fisheries.
This initiative is supported by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and aims to enhance water maintenance operations in Ukraine.
This amphibious machine is intended for a wide range of works on water bodies and marshy terrain, in particular, it is extremely effective for cleaning of silt and vegetation, dredging of reclamation channels and rivers.
At the moment, a crew from the State Agency of Fisheries is in Finland, learning how best to operate the soon-to-arrive Watermaster V dredger.
