Dredger Sospan Dau delivers new shingle at Southsea

Southsea Coastal Scheme said that new shingle will be delivered this week at the beach near Southsea Rowing Club with the dredger Sospan Dau.

Following the weather causing delays, the deliveries are planned for Saturday, March 16, (weather depending).

Two deliveries lasting approximately 90 minutes each will take place at high tides.

Following delivery, the shingle will be evenly distributed, according to the Southsea Coastal Scheme’s official statement.

This area has been temporarily closed until the work is complete.
