Jan De Nul Group has been busy lately dredging at the Port of Rostock, Germany.

Awarded by the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSV), the project includes deepening of the approach channel (Seekanal) and the Rostock Port area.

Currently, the fleet of 10 vessels is engaged in this dredging project, including cutter suction dredger “Fernão de Magalhães”, six barges, one trailing suction hopper dredger, one tugboat and one multi cat.

Once dredging works are fully completed, the Port of Rostock will be able to accommodate vessels up to 15m draft.
